Update 11 brings outfit customisation and new weapons to State of Decay 2

October 3, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Undead Labs has released Update 11 for their popular zombie apocalypse survival title State of Decay 2.  This latest update introduces the ability to change the clothing on our survivors with a number of different clothing items already available.  As well as outfits, this update brings players new weapons, tech’ changes and bug fixes.

For a glimpse of the new outfits, watch the videos below.

A new set of clothing items from t-shirts to hats arrive in State of Decay 2 thanks to the latest update.  Clothing items can be discovered in the many containers scattered around the remains of civilisation.  Items discovered will move to the new Closet interface that can be found in the Community Screen and it is here that players will be able to customise their survivors.  As well as being found in lootable containers, there’s also a new Bounty Broker pack that includes unlockable outfit bounties.

The clothing available at release includes caps, jackets, military helmets, cowboy hats and ninja hoodies, and in the bounties players can find the Skeleton hoodie and an actual Juggernaut mask.

The Fearsome Footage Bounty Pack provides gamers with a range of new weapons inspired by film and television, these include:

  • 1911 Long Slide — .45 Caliber Pistol.
  • SPAS-12 — Semi-automatic Shotgun.
  • Uzi — 9mm Submachine Gun.
  • Barbed Wire Bat — Blunt Melee.
  • Slasher Machete — Bladed Melee.
  • Señor Pokey — Close Combat Weapon.

Various other changes and fixes have been made and for more details on these visit the patch notes here.
