Jessica Henwick in talks to join The Matrix 4

October 17, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Jessica Henwick, known for her role as Colleen Wing in Marvel’s Iron Fist, is in talks to board Warner Bros.’ The Matrix 4.

According to Deadline, Henwick is likely to board Matrix 4 in an unrevealed but reportedly major role. Assuming the deal closes, the actress will join Neil Patrick Harris (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman) in undisclosed roles along with returning stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity. Meanwhile, Jada Pinkett Smith is also currently in talks to reprise her role as Niobe.

Plot details on The Matrix 4 are being kept under wraps, and all that is known about the project so far is that Lana Wachowski will direct from a script she has co-written with Aleksander Hemon and David Mitchell, and Grant Hill – who previously executive produced The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions – will be back as producer.
