Limited edition Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker posters to be given away at IMAX cinemas

With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker just under a month from arriving on cinema screens across the globe, for those looking to experience this final chapter of the Skywalker saga in its most immersive way, you’ll obviously be heading to your nearest IMAX cinema.  Well for a limited time only and on a first-come, first-served basis you’ll be able to get your hands on four brand-new, limited-edition Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker posters, designed by Dan Mumford, and you can check out the first one below…

Posters will be handed out on a strictly first-come, first-served basis between 10am – 1pm on the following dates. You must provide proof of purchase of an IMAX ticket for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on any date (either a ticket stub, or proof of booking for a future IMAX show) :-

  • Poster #1 – Sunday 22nd December
  • Poster #2 – Sunday 29th December
  • Poster #3 – Sunday 5th January
  • Poster #4 – Sunday 12th January

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set for release on December 19th 2019 in the UK and December 20th 2019 in North America with J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) directing a cast that includes Star Wars veterans Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) as well as new additions Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Richard E. Grant (Logan), Dominic Monaghan (Lost), and Keri Russell (The Americans).
