Guy Pearce to lead exorcism horror The Seventh Day

Deadline is reporting that Guy Pearce is set to lead the cast of the exorcism horror The Seventh Day, which will see him starring alongside Vadhir Derbez (How to Be a Latin Lover).

Written and directed by Justin P. Lange (The Dark), the film will follow a renowned exorcist who teams up with a rookie priest for his first day of training. As they plunge deeper into hell on earth, the lines between good and evil blur, and their own demons emerge.

Filming on The Seventh Day is set to get underway in February, with Pearce and Derbez starring alongside , Stephen Lang (Avatar), Keith David (The Thing), Chris Galust (Give Me Liberty), Robin Bartlett (City Of Angels), and Brady Jenness (The Sinner).
