Krysten Ritter to play a serial killer in dark comedy series from Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23 creator

February 15, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter looks set to reunite with Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 creator Nahnatchka Khan in as-yet-untitled dark comedy series about a female serial killer.

Khan is co-writing the project with Angela LaManna, and it is based upon Charles Warady’s upcoming book Serial Killers Anonymous, which tells of a 12 Step Program for those addicted to killing.

Universal Television is producing through its exclusive deal with Fresh Off the Boat creator Khan, and Deadline reports that there is intense interest from outlets for the series, with the likes of Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, FX and HBO Max all said to be in pursuit.

Ritter most recently appeared as the title character in Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones, which was cancelled by the streaming service last year after three seasons.
