Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition coming to Steam this June

April 16, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Publisher PikPok has announced they will be releasing their ultimate horse racing management game, Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition, on Steam for PC and Mac on 25th June.  This upcoming title will provide players with the chance to build up their own world class stables and breed the perfect champion.

With Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition players take the reins of a neglected farmstead with the aim of turning it into a world class equestrian centre.  There’s a cast of friendly characters available to assist in this goal as players breed, train and race horses.

Featuring:

  • Horses have detailed appearances, characteristics, pedigree histories and stats.
  • Training facilities help to increase the horse’s abilities including speed, sprint energy and acceleration.
  • Upgrade training facilities and unlock more stable stalls to increase horse abilities and collect and breed more horses.
  • Online multiplayer allows players to compete with friends, or play solo in an arcade-style mode.
  • Motion-captured animations and responsive announcer commentary.
  • Complete goals for a variety of rewards that will help to gain trophies.
  • Create the perfect horse with the horse creator tool, with a choice of millions of coat and pattern combinations.
  • Jockeys are fully customisable, choose the face, silks and helmet as well as collect unique tack sets.
  • Place in-game currency bets on virtual races with local betting party mode.

“Rival Stars Horse Racing gives players the opportunity to explore the exciting world of horse racing from all angles and develop their own unique experience,” says Mario Wynands, managing director of PikPok. “Between online multiplayer, the local betting party, and solo features like stable management and horse creator, there’s a fun experience any way you want to play.”

Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition launches on Steam on 25th June.
