Ranking The Ten Most Impactful Slasher Movie Franchises

October 18, 2020 by EJ Moreno

EJ Moreno ranks the ten biggest slasher franchises…

From Halloween to Hellraiser, slashers are a huge part of what makes horror so great. But who is the king of the kills? Which slasher franchise ranks as the best of the best?

Below, our host EJ Moreno dives into the ten biggest slasher franchises of all time and ranks them from his least favorite to the top pick. The only requirements for inclusion on this list are the franchise must have more than three films and have a bigger presence in the mainstream. Picks like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Sleepaway Camp could easily rank, but one of them only has three films, and the other is a bit too obscure to include as a “major” franchise.
