Hugh Jackman shares first teaser for Lisa Joy’s sci-fi film Reminiscence

Hugh Jackman has has shared a first look teaser for Lisa Joy’s (Westworld) upcoming sci-fi film Reminiscence.

Reminiscence follows “Nick Bannister (Jackman), a private investigator who deals in recapturing vivid cherished memories for clients. His life will completely change when he meets a mysterious client (Ferguson), who he madly falls in love with. But one day, the woman suddenly disappears leaving Nick completely lost. When he decides to search for her, he discovers different aspects of her personality that he didn’t know before.”

The film stars Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson (Dune), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), Cliff Curtis (Doctor Sleep), Natalie Martinez (Death Race) and Marina De Tavira (Roma).

Joy wrote the screenplay and will direct, making Reminiscence her directorial debut. She will produce alongside Jonathan Nolan, Michael De Luca and Aaron Ryder.

Originally slated to be released this April, Reminiscence will now open on September 3rd in US theatres and streaming while international markets will see a theatrical release on August 25th.
