Baron Zemo shows off his dance moves in extended clip of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s club scene

April 9, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

After taking the internet by storm last week, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Daniel Bruhl let slip that more footage of Baron Zemo’s meme-spawning dance moves ended up on the cutting room floor, and now Marvel has bowed to the pressure of the #ReleaseTheZemoCut fan campaign and unveiled said footage with an extended clip. Check it out here…

“It’s so hysterical,” Bruhl told EW about the scene.”[That moment] was improvised when I saw the crowd dancing, going loco. I felt the beat and was like, Zemo has been sitting in a dodgy German prison cell for years. So, he needs to let off some steam and show his moves. Let’s go for it! I enjoyed so much the reaction of Anthony and Sebastian looking at me. Still, I was 100 percent sure that they would cut it out [of the show]. I was really surprised and happy that they kept it. It was a long dance. There’s more to it, but they cut this little moment.”

If you’re looking to kill some time, here’s a full hour of Zemo dancing…

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier features a cast that includes MCU veterans Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Daniel Bruhl (Zemo) and Georges St-Pierre (Batroc) alongside new additions Wyatt Russell (Overlord), Carl Lumbly (Doctor Sleep), Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Adepero Oduye (The Big Short), Desmond Chiam (Now Apocalypse), Miki Ishikawa (The Terror: Infamy) and Noah Mills (The Brave).
