Back in June, Frontier Foundry and developer Complex Games announced they’d be unveiling a full cinematic trailer for their upcoming turn-based, tactical RPG set in Games Workshop’s exciting Warhammer 40,000 universe, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters in August. Staying true to their promise, a brand new trailer can be seen below introducing the Chapter most skilled at fighting demonic incursions by the forces of Chaos.
The forces of humanity have been waging the fight against the Chaos gods and their corrupted, malevolent, depraved demons and followers for tens of thousands of years. Despite the chapters of the Emperor’s Space Marines fighting them wherever they are located they are not as equipped as the elite marines trained specially for fighting demonic incursions, the Grey Knights. The Grey Knights’ origins are shrouded in mystery and possession of any knowledge of them that hasn’t been sanctioned by the high command is punishable by death but one thing is well known, they are devoted to purging the corrupting forces of Chaos.
Throughout this fast-paced, turn-based tactical RPG, players will come to learn more about this secretive brotherhood whose armour is their faith and shield is their devotion.
Look out for a gameplay trailer making its appearance this September, giving us all a chance to see humanity’s greatest weapon in action.
