Chucky wants to play in new trailer for Child’s Play TV series

October 1, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

With less than two weeks to go until the season premiere of Chucky, USA and SYFY have released another trailer and a poster for the Child’s Play sequel series which sees Charles Lee Ray return to terrorise his hometown of Hackensack in the form of the murderous Good Guy doll; take a look here…

In the new television series, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos after a vintage ‘Good Guy’ doll turns up at a suburban yard sale. Soon, everyone must grapple with a series of horrifying murders that begin to expose the town’s deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. Meanwhile, friends and foes from Chucky’s past creep back into his world and threaten to expose the truth behind his mysterious origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

Chucky sees the return of franchise veterans Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly and Fiona Dourif as Chucky, Tiffany and Nica Pierce respectively, while new cast additions include Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Bjorgvin Arnarson and Alyvia Alyn Lind as the young leads with Devon Sawa, Lexa Doig and Barbara Alyn Woods.

Chucky is set to premiere on October 12th on both Syfy and USA Network.
