Hulu has released the first trailer for How I Met Your Father, the How I Met Your Mother spin-off starring Hilary Duff, Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Suraj Sharma and Kim Cattrall as the voice of Duff’s character in the future. The series is set to premiere on Hulu January 18, 2022. Watch the trailer below…
How I Met Your Father will run for 10 episodes using the multi and single-cam format. It was written and executive produced by creators Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger (Love Victor). How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas executive produce along with Adam Londy. 20th Television is producing the series while Duff is among the producers.
In the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends – Jesse (Lowell), Valentina (Raisa), Charlie (Ainsley), Ellen (Tran) and Sid (Sharma) — are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
How I Met Your Father is will premiere on January 18th, 2022.
