Apple TV+ has revealed three first look images from its drama series The Essex Serpent, the upcoming adaptation of Sarah Perry’s 2016 novel of the same, featuring Claire Danes as Cora Seaborne and Tom Hiddleston as vicar William Ransome; take a look here…
“The Essex Serpent” follows London widow Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes) who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms an unlikely bond with the village vicar (Tom Hiddleston), but when tragedy strikes, locals accuse her of attracting the creature.
Joining Danes and Hiddleston in the cast of the series are Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy and Hayley Squires.
The Essex Serpent premieres on Apple TV+ on May 13th.
