Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania undergoes some very late reshoots

January 9, 2023 by Gary Collinson

Although its only a little over a month before the Multiverse Saga continues with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it seems that some rather late reshoots are required on the Phase Five-launching threequel.

As revealed by photos on social media, Paul Rudd was spotted filming scenes as Scott Lang in Los Angeles on Friday outside of a ‘Bridge Donuts’ set, for what is presumably some minor pickups or a post-credits tag/gag as opposed to any multiverse-shattering last minute changes.

Such things certainly aren’t out of the ordinary, although Marvel and director Peyton Reed are certainly cutting it a little fine on this occasion with the movie only five weeks out from its world premiere.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), Corey Stoll (Darren Cross/Yellowjacket), Kathryn Newton (Cassie Lang), Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror), Bill Murray (Krylar), and William Jackson Harper.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set for release on February 17th, 2023.
