Apple TV+ has released a trailer and images for the second season of its Emmy award winning musical comedy Schmigadoon! which will follow John (Keegan Michael-Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) as they are whisked into the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.
The series sees the return of Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski and Aaron Tveit, alongside new cast members Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page.
Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) miss the magic they felt in Schmigadoon and in an attempt to return, find themselves in Schmicago—the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.
Schmigadoon! premieres on Apple TV+ on April 5th.
