LEGO unveils The Marvels tie-in set The Hoopty

July 20, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

LEGO has unveiled The Hoopty set from the upcoming Marvel Studios team-up movie The Marvels which includes a film accurate spaceship and minifigures for Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Photon, and Goose. The set goes on sale on September 1st, priced at $89.99/£84.99.; check out the promotional images here…

Put action from Marvel Studios’ The Marvels into a young Super Hero’s hands with LEGO® Marvel The Hoopty (76232). Kids aged 8 and over join a cast of iconic minifigures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe for intergalactic adventures aboard the film’s supercool spaceship.

Take a kid’s imagination across the universe aboard the spectacular Hoopty spaceship. As they head from adventure to adventure, kids can use the 2 stud shooters for protection against enemy attack. Opening the cockpit of The Hoopty lets kids access the spaceship’s scientific equipment, records and other accessories. There’s also room for the 3-minifigure crew: Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Photon – plus Goose the Flerken. For added digital fun, the LEGO Builder app features intuitive zoom and rotate tools that let kids visualise their model as they build.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as ‘The Marvels.’

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman) and stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Zawe Ashton as Dar-Benn. Also featuring in the cast are Lashana Lynch, Randall Park, Park Seo-joon, Gary Lewis, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Daniel Ings and Shamier Anderson.

The Marvels is set for release on November 10th.
