DC still has plans for a live-action Teen Titans show

February 3, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Earlier this month it was announced that TNT has decided to pull the plug on its Teen Titans pilot, but it seems that DC Entertainment still has plans to bring the young superheroes to to the small screen.

“We [at DC] have known about [Turner nixing Titans] for months and months and months,” DC CCO Geoff Johns tells TV Line. “That’s not new news to us. We have plans for Titans. It’s a huge piece of DC and we have plans.”

TNT’s Titans pilot was written by Akiva Goldsman (Batman Forever, Batman & Robin) and Marc Haimes (The Last Word), but it remains to be seen whether DC will stick with the same creative team, or look to start over.

Are you excited that we may still get a live-action Teen Titans show? Let us know in the comments below…
