Jaws Pinball announced at CES 2024

January 5, 2024 by Andrew Newton

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in fabulous Las Vegas, Stern Pinball Inc announced Jaws Pinball to the world.  This latest pinball machine has been inspired by the classic films from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment and features state of the art pinball tech’.  See more of this new table in the video below….

JAWS Pinball will take players to Long Island’s fictional seaside resort of Amity Island during a long hot summer.  As Fourth of July revellers are closing in on the sun and sand, so too is the most famous of Great White Sharks, Jaws.

Taking the role of Quint, JAWS Pinball will have players trying to save Amity Island’s celebrations by firing the balls at a motorised shark fin target (with ‘Blood in the water’ light up effects), aiming it up the ‘Lookout tower’ ramp, navigating the ship’s wheel horizontal spinner on the deck and avoiding the motorised ‘Great White Shark’ that bashes its way through the bottom of the boat.

The table features clips from the films as well as audio by the great John Williams, but there is also custom speech performed by actor Richard Dreyfuss for that really unique experience.

JAWS Pinball features Stern’s award-winning Insider Connected system, which allows players to interact with the game and players around the world in a number of ways, including: tracking progress, hunt achievements, tackle special JAWS quests and improve Bounty Hunter Ranks.

Stern’s latest table will be available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models with the latter limited to just 1000 games.  Each of the three tables will be priced differently depending on global location of would-be purchasers.

The JAWS Pinball Pro in all its glory.

“Honouring one of the greatest movies of all time, we’re giving JAWS our most modern software and hardware to date,” said Seth Davis, President & CEO, Stern Pinball, “We can’t wait to debut this game’s terrifying and surprising gameplay to the world!”

Look out for JAWS Pinball coming to an arcade near you.
