Giancarlo Esposito is Parish in trailer for new AMC series

January 12, 2024 by Ricky Church

AMC has released a new teaser trailer for Parish, a US remake of the UK series The Driver which stars Breaking Bad‘s Giancarlo Esposito on a quest for revenge against the mobsters who murdered his son.

Parish is created by Danny Brocklehurst, who co-created The Driver with Jim Poyser, and will executive produce alongside Esposito and Poyser. It will be showrun and executive produced by Eduardo Javier Canto and Ryan Maldonado. The series will run for six episodes on AMC and AMC+ with a premiere date of March. Watch the trailer below…

In the series, Esposito stars as Gracian “Gray” Parish, a family man and proud owner of a luxury car service in New Orleans. After his son is violently murdered and his business collapses, an encounter with an old friend from his days as a wheelman resurfaces old habits, sending Gray on a high-stakes collision course with a violent criminal syndicate.

Parish stars Giancarlo Esposito, Paula Malcomson (Ray Donovan), Zackary Momoh (Doctor Sleep), Skeet Ulrich (Scream), Bonnie Mbuili (Noughts + Crosses), Ivan Mbakop (Hawkeye), Arica Himmel (Mixed-ish), Dax Rey (Wish Upon A Unicorn), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) and Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale).
