Bambi: The Reckoning trailer unleashes a killer version of the beloved deer

Do you want to see an evil Bambi? Umbrella Entertainment and Jagged Edge Productions have finally given people craving with the trailer for Bambi: The Reckoning., a new horror take on  Felix Salten’s classic book Bambi, a Life in the Woods.

Dan Allen directs Bambi: The Reckoning, based on a script by Rhys Warrington. Scott Jeffrey and Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey filmmaker Rhys Frake-Waterfield produce the film, which follows Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, the deer Bambi, who will destroy anyone in its path.

Bambi: The Reckoning is the third installment of the Twisted Childhood Universe following the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey films. Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare will follow this on October 31st, Pinocchio: Unstrung on November 12th, and Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble next year. The rest of the Twisted Childhood Universe films, including Awakening Sleeping Beauty and Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3, are in the works. Check out the Bambi: The Reckoning trailer below…
