June 11, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Amazon Prime Video has served up the trailer for Seth Rogen‘s small-screen spin-off series Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which is based on the $140 million grossing R-rated comedy movie from 2016.

In the eight-episode series, the foul-mouthed food have become the dominant species on Earth, living in the titular Foodtopia, that is until a flood wipes out the population, forcing them to team up with humans once again to secure the survival of their species.

Bringing the lunch to life are the vocal talents of Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester. Check out the trailer below…

The film was just the appetizer. Get ready for sloppy seconds as we follow Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy during their mission to build their own society: Foodtopia!

The eight-course television event Sausage Party: Foodtopia, premieres July 11 on Prime Video.
