February 19, 2016 by Amie Cranswick

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan has signed to to appear in an adaptation of Ian McEwan’s On Chesil Beach, where she’ll play the female lead Florence.

Little did either party know at the time, but those unsuppressed anxieties will continue to plague their lives for years after ‘I do.'”

On Chesil Beach is being directed by Dominic Cooke (The Hollow Crown), with Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley (Carol) producing.
