In today’s edition of Glenn Powell-related casting news it has been been revealed that Jenna Ortega (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) is being lined-up as his co-star in J.J. Abrams secretive comeback movie.
According to Deadline Ortega is in final talks to star in the untitled Warner Bros. movie, which will be J.J. Abrams first film since 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
As is the way with the mystery-box director of LOST and Super 8, very little is known about the film beyond the casting of Powell and Ortega, but reports have stated that the Abrams-scripted film will definitely not involve time-travel.
The news comes hot-on-the-heels of Sydney Sweeney’s casting alongside her Anyone But You co-star in Edgar Wright’s remake of The Running Man.
