Anna Kendrick plays The Dating Game with a serial killer in Woman of the Hour trailer

The first trailer has debuted for Anna Kendrick’s feature directorial debut Woman of the Hour.

Based on a bizarre true story, the crime thriller stars Kendrick as Cheryl Bradshaw, a young woman who won a date with Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto), a man hiding a deadly secret on the 1970’s matching making game show The Dating Game.

Joining Anna Kendrick and Daniel Zovatto in the cast are Kathryn Gallagher, Nicolette Robinson, Kelley Jakle, Autumn Best, Pete Holmes, and Tony Hale. Watch the trailer below…

Rodney Alcala was a killer in the midst of a killing spree when he brazenly took part in, and won a date on, the popular TV game show “The Dating Game.”
