Wright Flyer Studios has announced a new Symphony crossover event for their single-player adventure JRPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space will be with SNK’s legendary fighting game series, King of Fighters. This crossover (named King of Fighters: Another Bout) will begin on 22nd August and will be available on Steam for PC and Android and iOS devices. A new trailer can be seen below…
Shortly after Aldo, Another Eden’s main character, receives a strange invite saying to “Win the tournament, and save the world” he and his companions find themselves transported into the world of The King of Fighters. In this new world they will fight battles with beloved fighters Terry Bogard, Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond through a branching storyline which will unlock them for use across all of Another Eden.
King of Fighters: Another Bout introduces a new game mechanic to Another Eden that has players choose a team of three characters and take part in 1v1 battles to defeat other teams. Players will be able to perform special moves and fill up the blue gauge to unlock Max Mode. Once these moves have been mastered, it may just be possible for players to defeat the dreaded boss Rugal who waits at the end of the adventure.
All King of Fighters characters have been lovingly detailed in the Another Eden style and these characters will be available to use across the entire game.
