Trailer for Brian Epstein biopic Midas Man explores the man behind The Beatles

October 20, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its UK release on Prime Video later this month, a trailer has arrived online for Midas Man, the upcoming biographical drama from director Joe Stephenson which tells the story of the musical entrepreneur Brian Epstein, the manager behind the meteoric rise of The Beatles.

The film stars Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Brian Epstein, Jonah Lees as John Lennon, Blake Richardson as Paul McCartney, Leo Harvey Elledge as George Harrison, Campbell Wallace as Ringo Starr, Rosie Day as Cilla Black, Lukas Gage as Tex Ellington, Charley Palmer Rothwell as George Martin, Adam Lawrence as Pete Best, Jay Leno as Ed Sullivan, Emily Watson as Malka “Queenie” Epstein, Eddie Marsan as Harry Epstein, and Omari Douglas as Lonnie Trimble.

Meet Brian Epstein, a man who lived a thousand lives in a few short years, a visionary who transformed music history. From running a Liverpool record store to shaping the sound of a generation, Epstein’s journey is a rollercoaster of ambition, passion, and relentless pursuit of greatness. Jacob Fortune-Lloyd stars as the mastermind behind The Beatles’ meteoric rise, navigating a whirlwind of unprecedented fame, cultural revolution, and personal demons. But behind the glitz and glamour lies a man seeking acceptance and love in a world not ready. Midas Man peels back the curtain on the swinging ’60s, revealing the triumphs, heartbreaks, and secrets of the man who changed the face of music forever. Step into Brian’s world, where every touch turns to gold, but the most precious treasure remains just out of reach.

Midas Man arrives on Prime Video on October 30th.
