The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication hits consoles with launch trailer

October 25, 2024 by Andrew Newton

PQube and SoftStar Entertainment have announced that their hit horror title The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox and Playstation consoles.  Available in both digital and physical editions, this survival horror title takes players to the spooky setting of Taiwan’s Wen Hua University.  Watch the game’s new launch trailer below….

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a first-person survival horror that sees players try to survive the night as four characters at the Wen Hua University.  When a daring group of film club students orchestrates the ‘Carnival of Horror’ to attract new members the line between fiction and reality begins to blur during a night shoot.  Players will need to ensure their survival by outwitting the formidable spooks that haunt the shadow-filled corridors, solve challenging puzzles and unearth a sinister conspiracy.

Terrifying ghosts haunt the corridors of the university and players will have to work hard to evade the attention of the sinister ‘Mad Ballerina’ and the bizarre ‘Sergeant Huang’. Players will need to use stealth, tactics and sacred objects distract, divert and ward away the ghosts that pursue them through the night.

As players survive the night and traverse the winding corridors they will solve challenging puzzles, uncover vital clues and be able to discover items that will take them deeper into the conspiracy that is hidden within the university.

“We’re really excited for console players to get their hands on The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch today and fully embrace its terrors, befitting Halloween,” said Tyrone Walcott, Product Group Manager. “The game’s been continuously scaring players and influencers on PC since release, with lots of players returning to it over the last month for some scares, so it’s great that a new audience is now going to get to experience that too”.

Try and survive the night in The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, available now on the Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
