Adam Sandler returns to one of his earliest and most beloved roles this coming year, and Netflix has given fans a first peek at Happy Gilmore 2 with a teaser for the follow-up to the 1996 comedy about a failed ice hockey player whose unorthodox talent for golf earns him a suprise spot on the Pro Tour.
The teaser sees the return of Sandler as Happy Gilmore alongside Julie Bowen as love-interest Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald as rival pro Shooter McGavin, as well as appearances from Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny, who are among the many cameos expected in the film; check out the teaser trailer below…
Happy Gilmore 2 is directed by Kyle Newacheck (What We Do in the Shadows) and sees Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Dennis Dugan, Allen Covert and Ben Stiller returning from the first film. New additions include Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Scott Mescudi, Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Nick Swardson, Eninem and Travis Kelce.
Happy Gilmore 2 is coming to Netflix in 2025.
