Brad Pitt to reunite with David Ayer for Heart of the Beast

January 25, 2025 by Ricky Church

More than ten years after working together on the World War II action drama Fury, Brad Pitt and David Ayer will re-team on the survival thriller film Heart of the Beast.

Heart of the Beast follows Pitt’s former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog who battle for survival after a plane crash deep in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.

The project has been written by Cameron Alexander. Pitt will produce through his company Plan B Entertainment alongside Ayer through Crave Films and Damien Chazelle and Olivia Hamilton for Wild Chickens Productions. Alexander will serve as an executive producer.

Ayer is coming off his action film The Beekeeper starring Jason Statham, who he’ll reunite with for his next film A Working Man, opening in March. Pitt meanwhile recently starred with George Clooney in Wolfs and will next be seen in the racing film F1 this summer from director Joseph Kosinski.
