The Last of Us promotional images tease season 2 of the HBO series

February 4, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

HBO has released a new batch of images for the second season of the video game adaptation The Last of Us, offering a new look at Joel (Pedro Pascal), Ellie (Bella Ramsey), Jesse (Young Mazino), Tommy (Gabriel Luna), Maria (Rutina Wesley), Manny (Danny Ramirez), Nora (Tati Gabrielle), Mel (Ariela Barer), Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), Owen (Spencer Lord), and Dina (Isabela Merced); check them out here, courtesy of EW…

After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.

The Last of Us season two sees Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay return as Joel and Ellie alongside Diego Luna as Tommy. Newcomers include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara also guest stars.

The Last of Us season 2 is coming to HBO in April 2025.
