Hurry Up Tomorrow debuts trailer with The Weeknd surprising CinemaCon

April 2, 2025 by EJ Moreno

The Weeknd took CinemCon by storm, performing for the crowd alongside a trailer drop for his new film.

Lionsgate debuted a new trailer for Hurry Up Tomorrow at CinemaCon today, previewing the psychosexual insanity awaiting viewers.

Based on The Weeknd’s sixth studio album of the same title, the latest preview promises a fantastic mashup of Trey Edward Shults’ filmmaking, Abel Tesfaye’s tunes, and the powerhouse acting duo of Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Hurry Up Tomorrow has been rated “R” for “language throughout, drug use, some bloody violence and brief nudity.”

Check out the Hurry Up Tomorrow trailer and poster below…

A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence.

Trey Edward Shults directs the film, which features Abel Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan. Trey Edward Shults & Abel Tesfaye & Reza Fahim wrote the screenplay.
