A serial killer sparks a turf war in trailer for Protein

Bulldog Film Distribution has shared a trailer, poster and images for writer-director Tony Burke’s blackly-comic horror-thriller Protein.

Based on on Burke’s 2014 short of the same name, the film stars Craig Russell as a gym-obsessed serial killer who inadvertently causes a brutal turf war after murdering and eating a drug dealer for their potein.

The cast includes Craig Russell, Kezia Burrows, Steven Meo, Charles Dale, Ross O’Hennessy, and Andrea Hall. Check out the trailer below…

A gym-obsessed serial killer murders and eats a local drug dealer for their protein, inadvertently sparking a brutal and bloodthirsty tit-for-tat turf war between rival drug gangs.

Protein arrives in select cinemas on June 13th, followed by a digital release on July 14th.
