Paramount+ has renewed its star-studded crime drama MobLand for a second season.
Starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, the Guy Ritchie-directed series has become the streamer’s second most watched original of all time, with the first episode generating 26 million views since it debuted in March.
Created and written by Ronan Bennett (The Day of the Jackal) and Jez Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow), MobLand tells the story of two warring London crime families, their businesses, the relationships they’ve built, and the man caught in the crossfire between the Harrigans and the Stevensons, the street smart fixer Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy.
MobLand also features an impressive supporting cast that includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
