A Muay Thai fighter battles zombies in trailer for Netflix action horror Ziam

June 30, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has shared a poster and trailer for director Kulp Kaljareuk’s Thai action horror Ziam which follows a Muay Thai fighter as he takes on a horde of the undead to save his girlfriend and a young boy from a hospital overran by bloodthirsty zombies; take a look here…

In a desolate world where survival is relentless, Singh, a former professional boxer, plans to forsake his perilous career and return to his hometown to spend his twilight years with his girlfriend, Rin, who is a doctor. However, his simple dream is shattered when the hospital where Rin works is overrun by a horde of bloodthirsty zombies. With his fighter’s instinct, Singh risks his life to protect his girlfriend and Buddy, a young boy he accidentally encounters amidst the chaos. As the situation spirals, Singh must summon his courage, endurance, and fighting spirit, wielding his fists and kicks as weapons to fight his way through the zombie onslaught.

The cast includes Prin Suparat, Nuttanicha Dungwattanawanich, Wanvayla Boonnithipaisit, Johnny Anfone, Pimmada Borriruksupakorn, and Jason Young.

Ziam arrives on Netflix on July 9th.
