Dwayne Johnson tops Hollywood’s highest-grossing stars of 2013

Last week we brought you Forbes’ list of the most overpaid actors of 2013 (topped by former funnyman Adam Sandler) and now we have their annual list of Hollywood’s highest-grossing stars of the year.

Sitting atop the list is none other than Dwayne Johnson, whose four films – Fast & Furious 6, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Pain & Gain and Snitch – pulled in a combined $1.3 billion, narrowly beating out Robert Downey Jr. and the $1.2 billion juggernaut Iron Man 3.

Here’s the top 10 in full….

1. Dwayne Johnson – $1.3 billion
2. Robert Downey Jr. – $1.2 billion
3. Steve Carell – $964 million
4. Vin Diesel – $887 million
5. Sandra Bullock – $862 million
6. Paul Walker – $789 million
7. Billy Crystal – $743 million
7. John Goodman – $743 million
9. Chris Hemsworth – $701 million
10. Jennifer Lawrence – $700 million
