First trailer for James L. Brooks’ Ella McCay starring Emma Mackey and Jamie Lee Curtis

20th Century Studios has released a poster and trailer for Ella McCay, the new film from writer-director James L. Brooks, and his first since 2010’s How Do You Know.

The film stars Emma Mackey in the title role, alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks, Albert Brooks and Woody Harrelson.

 

An idealistic young woman juggles her family and work life in a comedy about the people you love and how to survive them. 

Ella McCay arrives in cinemas on December 12th.
