Ahead of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this September, Prime Video has shared a poster and trailer for Hedda, writer-director Nia DaCosta’s (Candyman, The Marvels) reimagining of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play Hedda Gabler.
Set over the course of one evening, Tessa Thompson stars in the titular role as a woman who finds herself pulled into a spiral of manipulation and passion as repressed desires and tensions erupt throughout the night.
