Netflix has shared a trailer and images for the Danish crime drama series The Asset.
Clara Dessau stars as Tea, an intelligence agent who is assigned a case to go undercover and befriend Ashley, the wife of a criminal mastermind. But as the pair grow close, Tea’s mission becomes complicated when she witnesses the grim reality of her targets life and she begins to questions her own loyalties.

The series revolves around the new intelligence service agent, Tea, who goes undercover to infiltrate a brutal criminal environment that has eluded the grasp of the intelligence service for some time. Adopting a completely new identity, Tea must befriend the criminal mastermind’s girlfriend, Ashley, to gather crucial intelligence. But as Tea gets closer to Ashley and witnesses the grim reality of her life within Miran’s controlling and criminal cobweb, doubts emerge about where her loyalties truly lie.
The Asset arrives on Netflix on October 27th.
