Over two years after its first season, The Artful Dodger is ready to return to Hulu for more crime-related and love-torn drama. The streamer has released the trailer for the upcoming second season of the Oliver Twist sequel, which is set to premiere on February 10th, 2026, and sees Game of Thrones and The Queen’s Gambit‘s Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s Jack Dawkins go on the run from the law. Returning with Brodie-Sangster for season two is David Thewlis, Maia Mitchell, Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Tim Minchin, Lucy-Rose Leonard, Nicholas Burton, Kim Gyngell, Luke Carroll, Vivienne Awosoga, Aljin Abella, Brigid Zeneni and Albert Latailakepa.
Newcomers to the series include Luke Bracey (Elvis), Jeremy Sims (RFDS) and Zac Burgess (Cruel Intentions). The series was created by James McNamara, David Maher and David Taylor. The official synopsis for season two reads:
Jack’s back! The Artful Dodger returns, and he’s in deep trouble. He’s got an appointment with the noose, he’s being hunted by Inspector Boxer, Port Victory’s new lawman, and if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he’ll be hanged. Meanwhile, Lady Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance. With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose.
