Not content with bringing the beloved manga series to live-action, Netflix has announced that its brand new anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is coming to the streamer in February of 2027 with the release of a teaser poster for The One Piece featuring Monkey D. Luffy enjoying himself in Partys Bar alongside Red-Hair Pirates Captain Shanks, First Mate Benn Beckman, and bar landlord Makino.
Produced by WIT STUDIO, The One Piece will begin with Chapter 1 of the East Blue Saga, with season one set to cover approximately 50 chapters of the original manga across seven episodes, leading up to Luffy’s encounter with Sanji, the sous chef of the floating restaurant Baratie.
The One Piece will set sail in February 2027 on Netflix.
