Ahead of its digital release next week, Seven Tales has unveiled a trailer, poster and promotional images for director James Anthony Usas’ cyberpunk action thriller The Last Assassins.
Set in a violent dystopian future, the film follows the journey of a young warrior (Athena Park) and her guardian (Josh Bainbridge) as they set out to seek revenge against those responsible for the brutal murder of her father.
In a dystopian future, fog has cast a shadow across the globe, thrusting humanity into darkness. With only traces of technology left across decimated cities, society hangs in the balance as vicious gangs seize control and toxic mist pollutes the atmosphere.
After witnessing her father’s barbaric assassination, a young warrior (Athena Park – Lady Ada’s Secret Society) teams up with her father’s former ally (Josh Bainbridge – The Boy in the Woods), embarking on a perilous journey to exact revenge on the killers and reunite with her only surviving family.
But the road to safety follows a treacherous path and as the mentor and his headstrong pupil encounter dangerous threats and fearsome foes, they must battle their way over icy snow-caps and scorched, smoggy roads to complete their crusade.
The Last Assassins arrives on digital on July 6th.
