Emma Stone joins Joaquin Phoenix in Woody Allen’s next project

May 7, 2014 by Sam Thorne

Last week, it was announced Joaquin Phoenix (Her) would star in prolific director Woody Allen’s next film. Little is still known about the project, other than the filming date announced for July, but Variety is reporting Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) is now set to join him in Allen’s latest venture.

Stone also features prominently in Allen’s Magic in the Moonlight, set for release on July 25th. With this, alongside her recent success in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and a myriad of other recent films, it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a lot of Emma Stone in the months and years to come.
