Karl Urban wants fans to Kickstart a Dredd sequel

Back at the start of April Karl Urban gave fans of the 2012 comic book movie Dredd hope that we’d be seeing a second outing for the Lawman of the Future by stating that work was going on behind the scenes with regards to Dredd 2, before producer Adi Shankar played down the talk, stating that there’s a “big question mark” over the sequel.

Well, it seems Urban is refusing to give up hope about another adventure for Judge Dredd, and has turned to fans of the film in an effort to see Dredd 2 become a reality. Speaking at the Motor City Comic Con (via ComicBook), the actor was reportedly optimistic about the chances of a sequel, stating that he’d be happy to reprise the role, and urging attendees to create a Kickstarter campaign.
