Byung-hun Lee to play a T-1000 in Terminator: Genesis

We already know that three of the most iconic roles in the Terminator franchise – Sarah Connor, John Connor and Kyle Reese – are to be filled by Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher) respectively in director Alan Taylor’s prequel/sequel/reboot Terminator: Genesis.

However, there are still several actors whose characters are yet to be revealed, including Byung-hun Lee (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), who is said to have a “key role” in the film. Well, we might just have discovered who he’s playing thanks to potential leaked call sheet on Reddit, which suggests he’s taking over the role of the T-1000, played by Robert Patrick in Terminator 2: Judgement Day….

UPDATE: Well, seems the call sheet was legit, as Paramount has demanded its removal. Now, how about a Robert Patrick cameo?

Terminator: Genesis is set for release on July 1st 2015 and sees Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his signature role as the Terminator alongside a cast that also includes Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man), Michael Gladis (Mad Men), and Sandrine Holt (House of Cards).
