Looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

December 14, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Back in 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy, directed by James Gunn was simply a massive blockbuster. This movie not only got some of the best reviews for that year, but it was also a box office hit that turned out to be highly popular with movie lovers. With all the buzz that this movie created right before its premiere, it was no surprise that the Marvel Studios announced their intention of making its sequel that is due to release in 2017. And now Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is one of the most anticipated movie of 2017.

A couple of weeks ago, Marvel released a new trailer for the forthcoming movie, which is packed with classic rock, humour, and plenty of action. This gave us a chance to have a better look at the entire squad consisting of Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and new addition Mantis (Pom Klementieff).

This new trailer starts with Drax ready to fight a huge alien creature, while Rocket tries to explain to Baby Groot how he should not touch a detonator, while the latter thinks that he should press the button. There are also further montages where you can hear the song Fox on the Run while the crew are busy in a space battle with the same level of humour that we have seen in the first movie. We can’t wait to see Baby Groot got some extra screen time, and this could probably hint that he is going to have a major role to play during the new show.

Just as not much was revealed about the storyline before Guardian of the Galaxy was released a couple of years ago, its sequel is also expected to keep the suspense till the end. However, there are a few hints on what it will be all about, and that it will be partly based on the subject of family, and how where you come from can affect you. Hopefully, when the film is released we will see a decent iPhone game to go with it. We are yet to see an iOS game from Marvel that would nicely accompany such a huge film.

Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt will be seen as a mature leader in the sequel rather than the womanising character we saw in the first film. Now he will have to deal with the fact that he is not entirely human, after he learned about his unique DNA, and knowing who really is his father.

Until you can catch this movie on the silver screen, you can play online slots that are similarly thrilling and are themed on adventure and movie at Spin and Win online casino. Some of the best movie themed slots that you will come across at Spin and Win Casino include Dead or Alive, Family Guy, Dragonz, Secrets of Atlantis, Wonder Woman Gold, Jack Hammer and many more.

After the release of Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange, everyone is eager for the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which is due in theatres on May 2017. This will be followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming in July and Thor: Ragnarok in November.
