Dwayne Johnson teasing Superman appearance in Shazam?

December 27, 2016 by Gary Collinson

We’ve known for a while now that Dwayne Johnson is set to take on the role of Black Adam in Warner Bros.’ Shazam! movie, and now The Rock has sparked speculation that Superman could make an appearance in the movie, sharing an image of himself and Henry Cavill enjoying a Christmas tipple, complete with the caption:

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Black Adam and Superman. Today we drink like gentleman and come together as friends. We’re excited for what the future brings. #DangerousGentlemen #DCWorldsWillCollide”.

Of particular note is the hashtag ‘#DCWorldsWillCollide’, which seems to suggest that the two could end up sharing the screen either in Shazam! or a future DC Extended Universe movie. Of course, Johnson and Cavill could also just be having a little fun with the fans…
