Rumour: Betty Ross and Nebula to appear in Avengers: Infinity War

January 9, 2017 by Robert Kojder

First of all, keep in mind that the source is sketchy here, but in an article by the Scottish Daily Record highlighting just how important it is from a cultural and economical standpoint that Avengers: Infinity War will undergo shooting in Scotland, it is possibly let slip that Betty Ross is returning to the fold.

An excerpt from the piece states: “Brie Larson of 21 Jump Street fame is expected to play Captain Marvel, while Liv, daughter of Aerosmith rocker Steven, is rumoured to be playing her Incredible Hulk character Betty Ross. Inverness-born Karen Gillan, 29, is reportedly preparing to star as galactic supervillain Nebula.”

Betty Ross has not been present in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, so it is a completely out of left field statement but not entirely impossible. Meanwhile, Nebula showing up seems to be likely, given what we know regarding the plot and the inclusion of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
