Rumour: Captain Marvel to start production in January 2018

Atlanta Filming is reporting that Marvel’s first female led superhero movie Captain Marvel will begin to start filming in January 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Brie Larson, who is playing the role of Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, is also expected to film scenes for Avengers: Infinity War at some point during its year-long shoot.

Captain Marvel does not have a director yet, but with a filming date so far away, the studio has ample time to prepare. The film is set for release on March 8th, 2019.
