Jeremy Renner and Hannibal Buress join Ed Helms in Tag

April 9, 2017 by Gary Collinson

According to Variety, Jeremy Renner and Hannibal Buress are in talks with New Line Cinema to join the Ed Helms-headlined comedy Tag.

The film is based on a story from the Wall Street Journal which revolves around a group of friends who have been playing a no-holds-barred version of the children’s game Tag for the last 30 years. Jeff Tomsic (Idiotsitter) is directing from a script by Mark Steilen (Mozart in the Jungle) and Rob McKittrick (Mancrush).

Renner is currently reprising the role of Hawkeye in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, which are shooting back-to-back, while comedian Buress can next be seen in Baywatch and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
