Kim Dickens praises the Deadwood movie script

June 18, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in April, it was revealed that Deadwood creator David Milch has completed his script for a feature revival of the cult HBO Western series, and since then we’ve heard comments from actors Ian McShane and W. Earl Brown who were both full of praise for the screenplay.

It was funny at times and sad and painful and beautiful, really beautiful.”

The script for the Deadwood movie has been delivered to HBO, and as Dickens states: “It’s in their hands now.” Let’s hope it finally gets the go ahead…
